Ozmo Smart Cup and Water App Keeps Tabs Of Water and Coffee Intake!

Friday, July 22, 2016

If you like the idea of a collapsible water bottle you may be interested in checking out a smart cup, called Ozmo, that will help you keep tabs of your water intake. The Ozmo Smart Cup helps you track both water and coffee intake so you know exactly how much water and coffee you drink.
Tracking is done via an app called Ozmo water app that allows you to set goals for achieving hydration and see your daily consumption of both water and coffee at a glance. I never seem to drink enough water so this solution certainly helps.
Best of all, The Ozmo smart cup syncs with activity trackers so you can adjust your goals in real time.
The Ozmo smart cup comes with a rechargeable battery that charges via USB. It only takes 1 to 2 hours to reach a full charge, and battery life lasts a massive 3 weeks! When full charge is complete, you will see three LED lights light up.

The Ozmo smart cup works by sending you reminders and alerts to help you achieve your hydration goals

The Ozmo smart water cup is compatible with iOS8 operating system, and Android 5.0 operating system.

To sync the Ozmo cup with the Water App on your phone, you need to plug in the smart cup to a power source, wait a few seconds and then unplug it from the power source. This process turns on the built-in Bluetooth in the Ozmo smart cup and allows you to sync the cup with the water app. Once syncing has been successful you will see the LEDs flashing.

The Ozmo smart cup prevents any spillages thanks to its secured magnetic lid which tightly screws to the cup. The lid has a pop up lip that allows you to drink from the cup without any spillages.
When you fill up the Ozmo cup with water or coffee, the content is automatically detected when you close the lid (when the LED light turns on it means the lid is not securely closed). The Ozmo cup is able to tell the difference between water and coffee and record the quantity of liquid.
Every time you drink or take a sip from the cup, the amount of liquid will be recorded every time automatically. Make sure the lid is tightly closed, otherwise, the Ozmo Cup's Bluetooth will turn off.

The LED alerts work as follows. Notice the three LEDs stacked on top of one another. When you see the bottom LED blinking, it means you have achieved 20% of your hydration goal. When you see the middle LED blinking, it means you have achieved 50% of your hydration goal, and when you see the top LED blinking it means you have achieved 90% of your hydration goal. When all three LEDs are blinking simultaneously, it means you have achieved 100% of your daily hydration goal.
The vibration alerts are triggered when the lid is open (the middle LED lights on while vibrating three times), low battery (bottom LED blinking three times),  plugged in USB cable (the cup vibrates twice). The Ozmo smart cup will vibrate 6 times, when you have not drank water for over an hour.
