Linquet Cloud Based Bluetooth Low Energy Tracking Device

Tuesday, September 26, 2017

A reliable anti-loss device which transmits real-time coordinates is a real life saver, especially when a pet or loved one goes missing!
With a water resistant solution like Linquet, you won't have to worry about losing anything (or anyone) because when you do Linquet uploads both the location and time in real-time onto a cloud, giving you the opportunity to search right away.
Linquet is small and thin (30 mm x 23.4 mm x 4.8 mm) and only weighs 6 grams with the included CR2025 coin cell battery.
Linquet has an outdoor range of 100ft/30m (60ft/20m indoors) and works in conjunction with a mobile app that you download to your phone and operate via Bluetooth. Linquet uses Bluetooth Smart 4.0 so battery usage is very minimal.
How Linquet works is simple. Order a Linquet, set up a Linquet account, enter the "registration code" sent to you, download the Linquet app (Android or Apple) and add Linquet to your phone. Linquet is compatible with iPhone 4S, and all newer iPhones and iPads (e.g. iPhone 5, iPhone6S+,iPad Mini). It’s also compatible with all Android devices with Bluetooth Smart (4.0+), running Android 4.4.4 and higher.
When you open the Linquet app, tap the “+” symbol to add your Linquet and wait for the green dot to verify successful pairing. Now, you can attach Linquet to keys, a pet or anything you don't want to lose.
When your phone or Linquet fall out of range, both of them will sound an alarm to let you know. Should you misplace your phone, you can push the button on the Linquet for 2 seconds and your phone will make a sound. If someone tries to turn off your phone or your Linquet, both will warn you that the phone or Linquet is being turned off.
Linquet includes other neat features like built-in temperature sensor and "silent alarm" which allows you to make the alarm inaudible so it won't make a sound. The alarm is high pitched and can be customized from a long sounding alarm, short sounding alarm and silent alarm. You can also use Linquet as a phone finder, panic button and camera remote.
What's neat about Linquet is that even if you miss hearing the alarm, the actual time and location is recorded. You can also add friends and family to your account so they can also be notified when you lose something. You can also disable the button functionality on the Linquet anti loss device which comes handy when using the device on a pet.
key ring/cord loop included
Linquet also has a "user network" of Linquet users where every Linquet user acts as a warning beacon to alert you when your lost item passes within 100 feet of a Linquet user.
You can add up to 10 Linquets to your phone and you don't have to pay for the actual Linquet device other than the monthly fee (as low as $2.50 per month or $30 per year) for maintaining the cloud service. There are no contracts though, so you can cancel any time.
3M sticker included
Once you cancel, the Linquet device gets deactivated but you can reactivate ir at any time when you are ready to renew the service. Linquet also offers a referral program where referring friends gets you a free month per referred friend.
