The Himedia Q30 by Himedia is a superb media box for playing 4K 60fps videos from USB and streaming HD videos from YouTube! The Q30 features the latest Android version (Android 7.0 Nougat) and the latest version of KODI (KODI 17.3 Krypton), which comes with the KODI YouTube addon that lets you stream a maximum resolution of 1080p YouTube videos.

The Himedia Q30 Android TV box is compact but big enough to feature the all-important external WiFi antenna for a fast and solid wireless connection.
You get also 2GB of RAM and a total internal HDD storage of 8GB with 3GB available to use, though with SD card support you can increase the total internal storage.

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) of the Q30 is a Hisilicon HI3798C V200 64-bit ARM processor, which is the same CPU used in the Q10 Pro TV box.

The home screen of the Q30 TV box has a total of ten fixed apps, including"system tiles functionality" (plus icons) that allow you to pin and/or remove apps on the home screen, which works just like the windows phone system tiles app. As far as total applications, you get a total of 19 apps, including NetFlix, Kodi, MediaCenter and Miracastm which allows you to screen mirror your phone.
The MediaCenter app is also useful as it lets you stream media content via UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), SDcard, LAN and NFS (Network File System) from your PC/NAS to your big TV screen.
In all, the Q30 Android TV box by Himedia is a smooth operating media box that is perfect for basic gaming, video streaming and playing 4k 10-bit videos at 50/60 frames per second (fps).
