Gauss Rimless Glasses Block EMI and Ultra Violet Radiation!

Monday, November 23, 2015

When I first heard of anti-static rimless glasses which block UVA and UVB radiation and have features like superhydrophobic and EMI coating, I knew I had to test out a pair!

These glass lenses made by Gauss really pack a lot of technology and have a hardcoating thickness of 2 microns, and also repel water and dust. I tested this out by splashing out water on the lenses and they repel water very much like rain repellent for car windscreens do. Dust particles that normally stick on my other glasses don't actually on these pair of Gauss glasses either.

An outstanding feature of these glasses, that I love, is how light and thin the lenses are thanks to the high-index material the lenses are made of. Being that I am nearsighted, I know that if you have a strong eyeglass prescription for nearsightedness or farsightedness, high-index lenses are always better than standard lenses. These glasses also come with an achromaflex coating on the back of the lenses, which reflect less than 1% light.

The frame of these glasses are also quite remarkable. I have yet to come across a pair of stylish sunglasses which can be bent, quite literary, like rubber. This actually is possible thanks to the material used for the frame, which is made of durable lightweight titanium. Gauss glasses weigh an impressive 15g (0.5 oz), which is about the same weight as a CD (Compact disc)

The Verdict
Gauss sunglasses are easier to clean and are scratch resistant. They are minimal, affordable and practical glasses that change their color and protect your eyes from harmful natural and artificial light such as blue light radiation emitted by digital devices, which cause eye strain and damage to the retina. These glasses stop harmful artificial blue light and electromagnetic interferences (EMI) which disrupts your brain patterns preventing you from sleeping adequately at night. The makers of these glasses - Gauss- have truly come up with very thoughtful glasses which offer amazing lens technology, all in one package. If you spend a lot of time in front of the computer it makes sense to protect your eyes with a pair of Gauss glasses. Check out Gauss Eyewear
