The enclosure material of the subwoofer and speakers is made of medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and dimensions are as follows:

The Edifier M1380 remote controller has a headphone socket and a mute button. When headphones are plugged in, the remote controller controls the volume of the headphones. Otherwise, the remote controller controls the volume of the device it is plugged into (i.e. PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc). The remote controller is wired to the main unit via a 1 meter cable and has an additional 1 meter cable coming out of the remote controller that ends in a 3.5 mm jack.

The +Edifier M1380 has a reasonable bass at all levels. It has a smooth warm tone to it without distortion. If you listen to music that uses the range of sound spectrum from bass to treble, you will be happy with the M1380's undistorted smooth rich tone.

The satellite speakers come mounted on stands with the speaker cable neatly threaded through an opening at the bottom of each stand. Check out the review of the Edifier T5 powered subwoofer and the Edifier M201BT
