The Alcatel Pop Star 5022X has a sleek curved back and compact shape that allows you to use the phone one handed. The headphone jack is on top; while the volume rocker and power button are on the right side and left side respectively.
The micro USB port is on the bottom; while the flash torch is just beneath the rear camera. The microphone and earpiece speaker, both do a good a good job at delivering clear sound without crackling and muffling noises during phone calls. You also get a physical Home Button along with a Back Key on the left and a Recent App Key on the right side of the Home Button.

The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is ARM Mali +Arm, which gives the Pop Star an even lower power consumption. Charging is very fast. I was able to charge 40% in around 25 minutes!
Inside the box, you get USB mains charger, micro USB cable, stereo earphones, user guide and three battery covers: white, silver and soft gold.

There is also an indicator light on the top right corner of the phone (where the front camera is) that lights up when the phone is fully charged and when you have missed a call or text.
As mentioned earlier, the Alcatel Pop Star is very easy to use with a nice user-friendly screen layout and handy functional features such as Screen Capture. You can take a screenshot of your phone's screen by simply holding the volume down and pressing the power button at the same time.
You can also snap multiple pictures in quick succession by holding the shutter button for as long as you require.

Camera/ Video Modes
Both cameras are good quality and produce clear pictures and smooth video recordings. The front camera has 5 megapixels; while the 8 megapixels rear camera of the OneTouch Pop Star does also Full HD video recording.
Alcatel Pop Star's camera and video modes come packed with plenty of functionality that you typically find in a video camera like the SONY A5000 like Panorama Mode. Other camera features include Scene Mode, Anti-Flicker, White Balance and Exposure to adjust the contrast and brightness.

There is also a Face Detection and Self-Timer features, as well as Zero Shutter Delay and ISO, which allows you to adjust the ISO sensitivity to a maximum of 1600 ISO.

Another cool feature of the Alcatel Pop Star mobile phone is Object Tracking, which allows you to track anything in Camera Mode. You simply touch and hold the object on screen and the camera lens will automatically track the object (great feature for moving objects).
In video mode, you also get the Time Lapse feature and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). You can choose from a maximum high video quality of 1920x1088 and you can also set the Microphone off for video recordings. Check out the Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star 5022X
