Sennheiser CX 5.00G Android Compatible Headphones With Volume Control!

Sunday, June 26, 2016

Following up from my last review on the Sennheiser CX 3.00 earphones, I am checking out today another pair of in-ear canal headphones by Sennheiser, called CX 5.00G, which are the G version for Android and Windows phones. (the CX 5.00i version is for iOS phones).
Right out of the box, the Sennheiser CX 5.00G earphones look awesome with the beautiful housing and long metal face plate with the Sennheiser logo printed on it.
The CX 5.00G nozzle is also made of metal and angled so they insert easily inside the ears and sit comfortably thanks to the soft silicone tips.

The cable itself has a nice length and it's sturdy and elliptical in shape to prevent tangling. The cable jack is low profile with an L shape.
Just like the CX 3.00 earphones, the CX 5.00G also come with a 2 year warranty and fully functional 3-button remote with volume buttons and integrated microphone. The microphone itself works well at filtering the background noise so your voice is picked up clearly at the other end, which is great for on the go phone calls or conference calls.

Being semi open headphones, sound isolation is good on the CX 5.00G while the sound produced by these earphones is balanced across the sound spectrum with nicely emphasized bass, crisp mids and extended trebles.
a total of 4 ear tips (XS, S, M, L)
As mentioned earlier, the CX 5.00G produce a nice range of bass, mids and trebles with the lowest frequency response being 16Hz (bass) and the highest frequency response being 22kHz (treble).
The CX 5.00G have also a low impedance of 18 ohms and Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 118 decibels so the CX 5.00G can go really loud. Check out the Sennheiser CX 5.00G Android Compatible Headphones With Volume Control
