Friday, October 06, 2017

Earphones that you can wear around the neck are great because they never get tangled plus they make you look cool!
The CX 7.00Bt neckband earphones by Sennheiser are in ear headphones with a neckband; hence they insert into the ear canal while the bands sits around the back of your neck.
The CX 7.00Bt earphones support 3-way calling, Qualcomm apt-X, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC which is Near Field Communication technology that allows you to stream music from a NFC-enabled smartphone to the CX 7.00BT earphones by simply bumping both devices together.
The CX 7.00BT earphones also feature multi-connection to pair with two phones at the same time , as well as voice prompts to notify of the pairing-status and low battery.
The control buttons are slightly raised so they're tactile and are located on the left side of the neckband. The control buttons consist of play/pause button (middle button) and a volume up and volume down button.
the CX 7.00Bt support Bluetooth profiles A2DP + AVRCP + HSP + HFP
The volume buttons double also as skip buttons to skip to the next song or previous song. The volume is increased and decreased in increments by single presses. To skip back and forth, hold down the volume buttons.
The small rounded button on the far right is the dedicated power button to turn on and off the earphones. The built-in microphone, which is located near the power button, picks up your voice clearly and in detail.
On top of the control buttons, you find the micro USB port which is concealed by a pull-up tap that keeps the micro USB port away from the elements.
The CX 7.00BT nozzles are made of aluminum and feature internal mesh filters to prevent earwax and dirt from getting into the driver housing. The nozzles are slightly angled which further minimizes the earphones from falling out of the ears.
The housing of the Sennheiser CX 7.00BT earphones is made of sleek, glossy quality plastic in black and blue color scheme. The back of the earphones feature aluminum accents with the Sennheiser logo engraved.
The cord end where it meets the housing of the drivers are reinforced with strong rubber bits to prevent premature wear and tear.
At over 10 hours of playtime from a single charge, battery life is pretty good thanks to the built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion Polymer battery which has a capacity of 170mAh. Full charge takes only 90 minutes.
The sound quality you get with the CX 7.00BT in ears is pretty awesome with nicely detailed sound spectrum. The volume is very well balanced and can be turned up loud enough. The frequency response for CX 7.00BT earphones is between 17Hz and 21,000Hz so you get slightly higher treble and lower bass than the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear Wireless.
Along with the CX 7.00BT earphones, you get a micro USB charging cable, a soft drawstring pouch, a quick guide and different size ear tips (XS, S, M, L).
