From POP Star to POP 4, Alcatel's latest POPular model is the POP 4, which is a 4G quad band smartphone that runs on Android 6 Marshmallow and it's powered by the Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 quad-core processor, clocking 1.1GHz of processing speed. The rear camera features an 8 megapixel lens while the selfie front camera is a 5 megapixel lens. Both the rear and front facing cameras feature wide-angle lens (84-degree viewing angle) with f/2.0 aperture and flash.

As far as the POP 4's main features, you get a high-definition 720p resolution, 8GB of internal phone storage, 1GB of memory  RAM and a microSD card slot that can support micro SD cards up to 32GB in size.

The Alcatel POP 4 4G smartphone is also quad band, which means the POP 4 is compatible with all the mobile global networks supporting GSM frequency bands between 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz.
The POP 4 also uses UMTS frequency bands so the POP 4 smartphone is also compatible with 3G mobile network operators.
With the POP 4 you also get as standard WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, micro usb 2.0 high speed, dual 2.4Ghz/5Ghz wireless bands and 4G speeds (LTE CAT4). 4G speeds means you get smoother Internet browsing with faster downloads and quicker loading webpages.
With the POP 4 you can also stream video and music without buffering

Alcatel's POP 4's 2500mAh battery gives you around 12 hours of battery life on 2G wireless, 9 hours battery life on 3G wireless and 5 hours of battery life on 4G wireless. Full charge takes around 4 hours.
As far as video recording and picture taking, the autofocus lens can capture HDR video in 720p resolution at 30fps (frames per second), as well as video zoom. Camera mode comes also pre-installed with a QR code setting (called Scanner) that allows you to scan QR codes without having to download a QR scanner/reader app.
