RHA MA650 Wireless White Aesthetic Neckbuds NFC, IPX4, APTX

Saturday, April 28, 2018

Nothing better in a pair of wireless headphones than long lasting power! And, it's not just long battery life that you get with the RHA MA650 wireless neckband earbuds, you also get quality construction, IPX4-rating and superb audio reproduction which are just as important in a high-end set of Bluetooth earphones.
The MA650 wireless neckbuds retain the same 6063 aluminum body with chrome finishes as the MA650 wired model, as well as the same custom 380.1 dynamic drivers.
Considering they are Bluetooth neckbuds, the MA650 wireless sound very good. The integration of aptX, SBC and AAC codecs really make a difference as it noticeably improves the deepness and detail of the sound, as well as the audio lag which you cannot tell, if any.
The MA650 wireless neckbuds are, indeed, superb sounding though as expected, you get higher treble detail with the MA650 wired model. The MA650 wireless frequency range is between 16Hz and 22kHz.
The MA650 wireless neckbuds are 3 feet long. The neckband itself measures 17 inches long, while each cable section measures 9.5 inches long. The neckbuds are surprisingly lightweight. In fact, they just weigh 33 grams.
The MA650 wireless neckbuds also have magnets to keep the housings attached to each other so you can wear them like a necklace, say, when cooling down after jogging or running.
While they are Bluetooth-enabled neckbuds, the MA650 wireless neckbuds also integrate NFC pairing which lets you pair them to your phone in literary seconds.
You also get an in-line mic and three-button remote that lets you access your virtual assistant, as well as gain full control of the audio playback.
The MA650 wireless 3-button remote is universal so it is compatible with both Apple and Android devices.

The silicone neckband, which comfortably moulds around the neck, vibrates when receiving  incoming notifications and phone calls.
The RHA MA650 wireless neckbuds fully charge in 2.5 hours via USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Battery power lasts half a day (12+ hours).

There is also a small LED next to the power button that indicates the wireless connection as well as the level of the battery power left.
To check the battery level, you simply tap the power button (to power on/off hold down the power button for a couple of seconds).
The MA650 wireless earphones also have a power saving feature that automatically powers off the MA650 wireless neckbuds after being idle for longer than twenty minutes.

The ear tips and SecureFlex neckband are made with quality silicone that is soft and sits comfortably in the ear canals and around the neck. The ear tips and neckband have a stain-resistant coating that is also moisture resistant.
While the MA650 wireless neckbuds are not waterproof, they are IPX4-certified which means they can handle good, honest sweat (perfect when doing intense workouts).
Talking about IPX rating, you always want at least IPX4 rating when buying headphones for running or working out in the gym. Anything less than IPX4 rating won't be reliable.
The generous assortment of ten different size eartips, including two Comply Tsx-400 memory foam tips, two double flange silicone ear tips in small and large sizes, as well as six dual density silicone ear tips in small, medium and large sizes.
Along with the MA650 wireless white neckbuds you also get a cable management clip, quick start guide, warranty information and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.
cable clip
1 foot long charging cable
3 years Manufacturer's Warranty
