Thursday, May 11, 2023

Upgrade your gaming audio without overspending with the Fifine AmpliGame H6 headset. This reasonably priced gaming headset is a game-changer that provides helpful features and excellent sound quality, making it a must-have for gamers who value immersive gaming and comfortable experience.

With its sturdy and lightweight design, built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC), noise-canceling microphone, and compatibility with various devices, the AmpliGame H6 is an ideal choice for budget-conscious gamers. In this review, we will take a closer look at what distinguishes this headset from the competition and why it's a valuable investment for any passionate gamer.

The Fifine AmpliGame H6 is a wired headset with a 2-meter long inelastic fabric cable, which features a long USB-A connector. The cable includes an in-line controller made of rubberized plastic with 2 clicky buttons - EQ button and 7.1 sound button (with an integrated led light), and a mute switch on the side. The inline controller measures 8cm long x 3.5c wide x 1.5cm thick and is located 50cm down the cable. It does not have a volume control.

The AmpliGame H6 headset's build quality is entirely plastic, with a soft rubbery coating, except for the earcup faceplate, which is made of matte plastic. The earcups feature flat aluminum alloy yokes that allow the earcups to tilt up and down. The left earcup has a 3.5mm port to connect the included boom arm microphone, which integrates a 9cm long memory wire arm that allows you to bend the boom arm at different angles. It's beneficial that the boom arm is detachable, but the downside is that the port becomes exposed, which is why a swivel or retractable boom arm is more desirable.

The AmpliGame H6 headband is padded all-around with soft PU leather stitch style and includes a ratchet style headband slider for head height adjustment. The earpads have a comfortable foam padding covered with soft PU leather, which feels comfortable but isn't as breathable as fabric earpads. The inner hole of the earcup depth is 1.5cm deep x 3.5cm wide x 6.5cm high. The outer is 10cm high x 7cm wide. The top of the driver is flat (no protruding bits of plastic) and covered with a thin layer of spandex fabric. The headset can rotate 90 degrees for easy storage. The headset's 50mm drivers provide clear and precise audio with good bass response, creating an immersive gaming experience with a broad soundstage.

One exceptional feature of the AmpliGame H6 is the built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that enhances the audio output quality, making it an ideal option for gaming, music, and video streaming. The microphone is also impressive, featuring noise-canceling technology that eliminates background noise and delivers clear audio.

Overall, the Fifine AmpliGame H6 is a good gaming headset that provides clear audio and good comfort. It is lightweight, weighing just 337 grams with the cable dragging and approximately 270 grams when resting the cable on a desk. Although it lacks connectivity options and may not be as versatile, it is a reliable option
