Wednesday, March 06, 2024

Meet the Redragon K1ING M916 PRO 4K, a wireless mouse crafted specifically for gamers. It features a super long-lasting battery and operates with remarkable speed and minimal delay, aiming to enhance your gaming experience for smoother and more enjoyable gameplay.

The K1ING M916 PRO 4K showcases triple connection modes: wired, Bluetooth, and a 2.4GHz wireless option. Its DPI changer allows you to adjust sensitivity across five levels, ranging from 1000 dpi to 26,000 dpi, through the Redragon desktop software, offering full customization of all buttons.

Functionality extends to the mouse's 5 programmable buttons, including 2 left side buttons for quick shortcuts. Weighing in at 50 grams, it holds the title of Redragon's lightest mouse, made from lightweight ABS plastic. The mouse's surface features a smooth texture with a non-coated grippy finish, ensuring comfort and adequate grip, even with sweaty hands.

In terms of key specifications, the Redragon K1ING M916 PRO 4K lives up to expectations. It boasts a 4K Hz polling rate, a Nordic chip for reliable performance, and versatile connectivity options (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, Wired), catering to diverse preferences. The PAW 3395 Sensor ensures precise tracking, and the absence of RGB lighting contributes to a sleek and focused design. The HUANO Pink Dot switches enhance the mouse's responsiveness.

With a 10-hour battery life, a weight of 51 grams, and dimensions designed for medium-sized hands with a claw grip, the K1ING M916 PRO 4K is a meticulously crafted gaming mouse. The smooth ABS plastic build, featuring a non-coated and non-slippery texture, adds to the overall positive gaming experience.

Internally, the K1ING M916 PRO 4K boasts a PAW 3395 optical sensor, the same one found in the Redragon M686 Vampire Elite and Redragon Woki M994. It features a Nordic-powered multi-protocol 2.4GHz chipset (SoC) with similar performance to the Glorious Model O, supporting Bluetooth 5.2. This enables low latency and reduced power consumption via Bluetooth LE (low energy) and 2.4GHz RF wireless connectivity.

The included 2.4GHz dongle, designed with a block shape, connects via USB-C cable to prevent sliding. The Nordic SoC allows a 4,000 (4K) Hz polling rate and an impressive battery life of up to 3 days without recharge.

The main right/left click buttons utilize Huano transparent shell pink dot switches with a lifespan of 80 million clicks, providing a lighter click actuation compared to regular Huano blue shell pink dot switches. Other switches in the mouse use regular Huano switches. The scroll wheel employs a quality F-Switch, featuring a notched linear semi-silent actuation.

On the bottom of the K1ING M916 PRO 4K mouse, you find the DPI button and a switch mode to alternate between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. The switch button also has an OFF mode to power off the mouse completely. Dimensions are 120mm long x 55mm wide, suited for medium-sized hands in a claw grip, with a weight of 51 grams.
