WEWATCH V10 Projector Review

Wednesday, October 05, 2022

Newest single LCD chip projector from WEWATCH is a cost-effective movie watching solution for those on a budget!

The WEWATCH V10 projector has a square (plastic) boxy design, measuring 21cm long, 15cm deep and 8cm high. On the sides and bottom, there are perforated vents for ventilation and single speaker (rear firing).

The connectivity ports are also side facing and include 3.5mm audio output, 3.5mm AV input, microSD card slot, HDMI input, USB-A port and VGA connection. The HDMI port supports 1.4; hence you can only do 4k playback at 30fps. HDMI 2.0 is more desirable because it supports 4k at 60fps.

On top of the WEWATCH V10 projector, there is a focus ring, keystone lever to manually adjust the image. On the bottom, there is a thumbscrew for height adjustment, tripod thread and rubber feet (4mm high). The V10 projector weighs 1.1 kg so, it's lightweight to move around the house.

The WEWATCH V10 projector has a simple user interface that is easy to navigate, even if you haven't used a projector before. You can access picture settings to adjust brightness, color and temperature of picture, as well as sound settings, including preset sounds. SRS TruSurround and surround sound mode, which doesn't work well and doesn't make a lot of sense on a single speaker projector such as the V10.

Due to the lo-res and low lumens, the V10 isn't very bright and image quality not as good as its predecessors - V50 projector and V30SE projector. The V10 performs best in a dark room as image can look washed out in a brightly lit room.
