The higher the RH percentage the higher the water content in the air. This means, the SwitchBot isn't as accurate in environments with low humidity levels (e.g. 5% RH).


The SwitchBot Thermo-Hygrometer is made entirely of plastic with low weight (45 grams) and very small footprint 6.5cm long x 2.5cm wide x 2cm deep; hence unobtrusive, making it ideal for small spaces. Onboard the unit, you find the temperature/humidity sensor, status led, anchor point for lanyard and physical single button located inside the battery compartment. The location of the button isn't the most ideal as this requires having to remove the battery lid compartment. There is no hole for mountain the meter to a wall so, you will need to use your own 3D tape if you want to put it on a wall.


The SwitchBot Thermo-Hygrometer is compatible with SwitchBot Hub Mini, which also supports other SwitchBot devices such as the SwitchBot Lock & Keypad and SwitchBot Humidifier. When paired with the hub, it enables smarter push notifications, supporting readings such as Dewpoint, VPD, and absolute humidity. This means that you can receive alerts via the app whenever certain conditions are exceeded, allowing you to take immediate action.

You can export the data as a .csv file for in-depth analysis, and multiple methods of data calibration are supported for accurate readings.
